Green2Green has been developed in response to the growing demand for green building products and the difficult process of choosing among so many possibilities. Green2Green offers comparisons of products using a variety of environmental, technical and economic criteria. Each product listing features information about basic characteristics, environmental attributes, affordability and performance. Our goal is to help people make fast, easy, informed decisions about green building products. By combining the best of what we currently know with a framework that creates an incentive for green innovation, Green2Green can support the fledging growing green building industry and to encourage the design of innovative and sustainable buildings that contribute to the wellbeing of people and the planet.

Green2Green is guided by an Advisory Committee comprised of representatives from all of the
potential user types that Green2Green targets, including professionals representing affordable housing, architecture, academia, development and construction, building supply, all forms of media and environmental advocacy. The Committee members and their constituencies have been directly involved in the planning, development and testing phases of the web site, and we
have custom tailored functionality, wherever possible, to specifically address their needs.Together, we strive to maintain a balance of perspective, addressing the very practical day-to-day decisions an architect, builder or homeowner faces, and the limitless theoretical framework that inspires innovation.
